After eight years of an error, change has truly come to America. After years of lies, newspeak, hate, and deceitful propaganda, a black man with a middle name of Hussein, has become the President of The United States of America.
Just 6 years ago, America was scared into supporting a war on a man named Hussein. Just 3 and a half years ago, a city of black citizens was left to suffer in New Orleans. Just over 40 years ago, 2 prominent leaders of peace, one black and one white, were assassinated by our Central Intelligence Agency. 50 years ago, black citizens were second, or third class citizens. Today, January 20, 2009, a black man becomes President. How times have changed.
After eight years of the worst leadership imaginable, focused on personal vendettas, profit for co-conspirators, fear, and complete disdain for the people of America and the World, we now have a leader who is drastically different. We have a leader who earned everything he has achieved. At the age of 47, he has worked his way up from living in a poor family, with a single mom, to attend Columbia University and then Harvard, elected a state senator, then a United States Senator, and today, he is President of the United States.
Today shows the best of the nation of America. No need to have connected parents, no need to sell our all your beliefs, no need to deceive a nation, no need to trickery, no need for the politics of division.
Barack Obama will have a tremendously tough time in fixing a horrible situation our nation and world are in today, he might not succeed, but he might be able to rebuild this nation and lead this world into what we all hope and believe it can be.
January 20, 2009 is a day all American’s and Citizens of the Earth can be very proud of.
Happy Freedom Day!
